the fbi is keeping tabs on bay area people based on their nationalities and religion. their story now from kpix 5's christin ayers. >>> reporter: nadia hussein says the warning came on her facebook feed from a muslim friend who believed his mosque was being watched. >> please be wary of a guy walking around asking about the taliban or al qaeda. he is probably the fbi or fbi informant. >> reporter: it's practically a punch like at bay area mosques. >> if you tell them it's a joke we are probably being listened to right now. >> reporter: but she says the close surveillance of muslims in the bay area and nationwide is no laughing matter. most recently the arab resource and organizing center has told kpix 5 that fbi agents have been showing up at the homes of arab residents right here in oakland knocking on their doors and asking them questions about the iraqi community here. a group of activists gathered at oakland city hall, faced east, knelt and prayed. they came to oppose the domain awareness center. >> we don't want any community to go through what the muslim community has gone throu
